Persian Teacher Training & Professional Development

Teaching Persian as a foreign language calls for more than fluency in the language. It requires understanding how Persian is best introduced to new learners, how the script and grammatical structure shape a learner's early progress, and how instruction should be sequenced as learners advance.

Persian Prime's approach to Persian instructor training is grounded in the study of Persian language pedagogy and the practical realities of the classroom. It is intended to support both teachers early in their practice and experienced instructors looking to strengthen their approach to teaching Persian.

Persian Language Curriculum & Lesson Planning

Structuring a Persian course — a single class or a full syllabus — involves decisions about sequencing, pacing, and learning objectives that are specific to Persian.

Our work in this area supports individual teachers and classrooms in curriculum and lesson planning: how a Persian syllabus can be structured across levels, how lesson plans can be built around clear learning objectives, and how course planning can account for the particular challenges Persian presents to new learners.

Online and blended Persian instruction is increasingly common, and it introduces its own considerations — presenting the Persian script clearly on screen, structuring spoken practice remotely, and keeping digital tools in service of language learning rather than a distraction from it.
